Jalapeno Popper Grilled Quail

It’s quail season in our parts and we’re going to show you an easy recipe- Jalapeno Popper Quail. We’ve got a trick to keep these little birds moist out because quail has a tendency to dry out when cooked. So get the fire and the grill hot and let’s cook some bird!

For the seasoned flour:
mix 1 cup flour with 1 1/2 tablespoons of Red River Ranch Original Seasoning (http://www.kentrollins.com) or 1 tablespoon seasoned salt and ½ tablespoon coarse ground black pepper – or to taste.

Other ingredients:
softened cream cheese
jalapeno, sliced in strips
bacon strips, halved
BBQ sauce
